Sound Insulation and Airtightness
The UniSpace 30 Fire Rated Panel meets sound insulation requirements under ISO 10140-2, with performance evaluated as ISO 717-1: Rw (C; Ctr) = 37 dB. It is also airtight according to EN 1026:2016-09, achieving Class 4 under EN 12207:2017-03, and smoke-tight to S200 under EN 1634-3 / DIN 18095 t1.

The UniSpace 30 is designed for simple installation, featuring an interchangeable stopper and removable door. No additional fire protection kit is required, simplifying installation and use.

Do you have fire-rated EI30 access panels in wood?
translatedThe myaccesspanels.co.uk team 2026-06-17Hello, and thank you for your question! No, we do not offer fire-rated access panels in wood — and this is a technical choice. An EI30-certified access panel must be made from non-combustible materials: our models therefore combine aluminium (or steel) with a fire-resistant plate. This is what allows us to achieve a certified fire rating according to EN 1634 standard; wood, being combustible, does not permit this level of protection. We do, however, have several EI30 models, depending on your installation type: – UniSpace 30 (the model on this page): for partition walls and ceilings. – Alustar suspended ceiling EI30: for suspended ceilings, push-to-open mechanism, with an air-tight and smoke-tight version. – Fire-Star EI30 / EI60: for technical ducts. If your need is primarily aesthetic (for example, integration into a wood-finished décor), the visible face can be painted in the colour of your choice: contact us to discuss the best finish, or for custom dimensions (in 5 cm increments).
