Whether the access panel is airtight, I cannot say or test. I have to trust that it is. In principle, the construction is quite simple, which is why I think the access panel is too expensive! In my opinion, customers are being charged too much here. Airtightness depends on correct installation.

The custom-made access panel is quite light, which actually makes installation easier. I made a planning mistake—since it's positioned under a sloped ceiling, I can't open it. So I have to remove it completely to access the attic. But ultimately it disassembles easily and that's not really a constraint. I only open this access 2 or 3 times a year anyway. I had planned to cover it with a painting, but it's genuinely attractive and blends seamlessly with the white wall. Excellent delivery and flawless product.

Very professional website! The access panels offered (second purchase) are of very good quality and the "invisible" effect is quite good. With my last order, the access panel didn't match its intended use (wall-mounted rather than ceiling). Since the confusion came from a typo on the website, a new access panel was sent very quickly, free of charge, with no need to return the product. Hats off for that gesture!
